Came home from pep band practice to a dead betta fish. What the hell? Hadn't even had the stupid thing for 24 hours. Oh well, at least I didn't pour it down the sink this time. I think its time I tried getting a houseplant.

Rest in peace fair Rupert, your death was truly tragic.
For a week and a day you delighted the residents of Hunt 201 with your spunk and charm
Swimming around in your little glass bowl, resting amongst the rocks
You were able to brighten our days and nights.

Gone too soon, fair Rupert!
Death was not forseen that fateful night, as you swam that last lap around the bowl.
Who could have known that ten minutes later we would be mourning a loss?
Down, down, down into that dank afterlife, the slimy gate to the murky netherworld.
You struggled and spasmed, desperate to hold on
But alas, it was all for naught.

Not even a fortnight did you last
In that glass sixty-one cent bowl and bargain fish pellets.
Gone a companion and $2.99
Down the drain.

Imagine you manage a coven of baseball-playing vampires. The Cullen family is really strong this year and you want to bring in a ringer. Which currently active MLB baseball player do you sire?

A vat of acid and a stake to the heart for the Cullens and a rude gesture for the person who came up with this question. $#@&ing Twilight!

Have you ever found yourself enjoying something you had previously scorned as a cliché? What was it?
